Varaha Jayanti Story

One of the most interesting mythological stories is the story of Varaha Jayanti. Varaha Jayanti Katha is found in various Hindu scriptures, including the Vishnu Purana, Bhagavata Purana, and other ancient texts. 

The story starts when the demon named Hiranyaksha emerged as a powerful force and wanted to disrupt the natural course of actions of the universe. With his great strength, he submerged the Earth into the deep ocean which created panic and chaos on the Earth. This is when Lord Vishnu decided to intervene, he chose to incarnate as Varaha to rescue the Earth and restore the cosmic balance. Even though Hiranyaksha was very powerful but Lord Varaha’s devotion to protecting dharma and the Earth gave Him the strength to defeat him. After a mighty battle, Lord Varaha ultimately defeated Hiranyaksha. He then used his divine tusks as he had incarnated as a boar to lift the submerged Earth from the depths of the cosmic ocean. The cosmic order was restored, the good prevailed over the evil, and the people were taught the importance of righteousness.
