• On this day, women should rise early, ideally during the auspicious Brahma Muhurat, which is two hours before sunrise, and follow the Hariyali Teej Puja Vidhi.

• Before you perform the puja, take a bath and dress in green. 
• Use holy water to clean the chowki and the puja room.
• Put a fresh white or red cloth over the chowki.
